Published 22 października 2012 | Aside from playing lots of Rock Band 3 (love the new keyboard, still waiting for the drum MIDI adapter and the Squier guitar), I’ve been trying to get more of the achievements in Green Day RB and Beatles RB. After playing through one of the album challenges in GD:RB, I played Beatles to see if I could get any of the achievements I was missing. When the game came out I gold-starred all but two of the songs, each needed for separate achievements. And then there was the good old “I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!” (100% Helter Skelter) achievement. I really haven’t played it since then (except with friends when they wanted to sing), and figured I may have gotten better since then and could beat those last few songs.
I started with “I Feel Fine” and missed an Overdrive phrase. I played it again and missed one note, while OD was active I think, no gold star. Tried a different OD path, but broke combo three times. Gave up and tried the other song, “I Wanna Be Your Man.” It’s super fast and tiring on your right hand, but I did really well and GS’d it on my first try! Yes! Feeling good, I went back to I Feel Fine. I knew I could do it, and after a couple tries:
Sweeeeet! I was about to turn off the game, but figured I should play Helter Skelter just for the hell of it. I remembered that there are two weirdly timed drumrolls at the end, and that’s where most people mess up. Since I hadn’t played that song in a year, there was no way I would hit those, but it was good practice anyway. I started the song and was doing fine…got to the end, first weird drumroll…broke combo. Second drumroll…nailed it! Wait, did I miss a note or overhit on that first one?
Yes! 100% on my first try! Uh oh, was the achievement for FC’ing it, or just 100%? *achievement popping noise*
So happy. I still have a few achievements to get: two are for guitar, which I probably won’t get. Two are for vocal harmonies, which is really a crime I haven’t gotten those, since that’s what this game is all about! It’s entirely my fault for not playing it more…and not having the ability to sing. It would be awesome to 1k this game. We’ll see.

I have a project for Lit which requires me to find a song with literary devices in it, and I know all the obvious ones like „teenaged bronkin’ buck” and „helter skelter in a summer swelter”, but I wanna know what all those lines about the jester in James Dean’s coat and the marching band refusing to give up the football field to the players refer to.

I take AP American History at a private school. I am a junior this year. My teacher gave the class the following assignment and I am sort of stumped where to begin.

The only Helter- Skelter I know is a book that deals with Charles Manson and he is locked up and will not effect anything for quite some time.

It said „we had to come back helter-skelter” and helter-skelter means chaos or confusion but it doesn’t make sense because then the sentence would be „we had to come back confused.”

My shepherd mix is about 10 years old and is restricted to a gentle leader outdoors. I have just read Helter Skelter ad found it fascinating. The book only really goes up to the end of the trial and scentencing, where as I know over the next few years there was an awful lot of other events involving the family, especially with Squeeky. A friend of mine is a pack rat with his wallet. He saves store receipts, used up gift cards, expired credit cards, etc., all in his wallet. At a store recently, he struggled to retrieve his debit card and he accidentally pulled his entire wallet out with credit cards, receipts, gift cards, etc., scattering helter skelter through the air and all over the floor. For his sake, and out of good manners, I kept myself from laughing, but it was hard to keep a straight face as I quicly offered to help him catch all that flew out of his wallet. Also, a couple of bystanders offered to help him gather up his wallet belongings and the store clerk offered to give him an extra large shopping bag to put his cards and things in for the time being. He had enough items in his wallet for 2 or 3 wallets. While some folks helped him, others laughed. It was sort of like a scene one might expect in a Seinfeld episode or a Three Stooges episode. Wasn’t this wallet episode sort of funny? I wish I had a video camera to video it for America’s Funniest Home videos.

The neck seems much longer then the RB 2 guitar. My arm feels quite strained while playing. and if i dont play with it in that position, i will miss „notes” more because my arm/wrist isnt in a good position.

I know this has been asked a lot, and I have read many different answers, the most common one being that the GH instruments work on RB 2, but not the other way around. Can someone clear this up for me, because I want to get The Beatles: Rock Band next month without needing to get new instruments for the Wii.
I want to buy the soft wear and controllers separately. But I dont want a dozen plastic Guitars in the house. I already have plastic Guitars from the PS2 days that don’t work with 360. Are there 3rd Party controllers that work for widest possible number of games or even for multiple systems?

I own Guitar Hero World Tour and want to buy a rock band game. I know the instruments are compatible, but it is EASY to use the World Tour instruments on Rock Band games? For example, the drum set has more „buttons” and note slots on World Tour, so how does that transition to rock band? Does it make it hard or confusing to play? Our son is in the 3rd grade and today he brought home a homework packet that is just a california standard achievement practice test. Are the schools allowed to send home a practive test for the standard tests?
Also, as a second part, the practice test is a copy of a copyright protected book. Is it legal for the school to copy this book?
I have a xbox live gamer tag and i was wondering how to put my achievement point onto the account with the gamer tag seeing that i have way more points on my regular account and would like them on my live account.
Since they made a Beatles edition, (god knows how that’s gonna work) (I think that on expert there’s gonna be like very little, slow strumming and on beginner there’s gonna be no strumming at all) I think that there should be a GH or RB Queen edition.
I have beat the game and done about 50% of Steve’s car missions. I got the genetically superior cheat. Is there a money cheat or something. If not how can i get the achievement. Please help me!
I was playing and i realized I was about 40 points from the Katana so i went out and did social big team and it was on avalanche capture the flag. The achievement was to get a splatter spree on a legendary map. I did just that and didn’t get the achievement so no sword. What do i do?

so i recently bought guitar hero 6, warriors of rock, its pretty cool and all, but i found out about Rock Band: Green Day. and i like Green Day alot.
So, can i play that game with the Guitar Hero: Wariors Of Rock guitar controller ? Or do i need to buy an extra controller for that game ?

I read somewhere that you can’t get the achievement for finishing the campaign on Legendary unless you finish all the levels in one go without ever saving and quitting. I can’t imagine how this could be true considering how hard some of these levels are. Could anyone verify this for me?

How many Achievement Points can I earn playing an XBL Arcade game? Alot of people told me I could only earn 200 ( tops ) but, I have a friend who earned 600 achievement points playing Banjo Kazooie.

The achievement is 10 gamerpoints for assassinating „Amsel” with a pistol. My problem is actually finding a pistol. All I can find around the level are rifles and machine guns. It is going to be hard enough to actually kill the guy with a pistol from so far away, but all I want to know is where I can actually find a pistol on that level lol. Thanks in advance for any help.

In order to get Army achievements into the paper I know there is some department you have to go through in order to have them send an official notice to your newspaper. My son said at basic someone came by from this department and got everyone information to send to their hometown newspapers but he cant remember what the name of it was. What i mean is can cheats that block achievements take away the achievement if entered after the achievements already been unlocked. I’m playing GTA IV and would like to lower wanted level whilst playing in free roam (I am not planning on saving the game either) I have both the „One Man Army” and the „Walk Free” Achievements witch are blocked by using this cheat. will i loose them if i enter the lower wanted level cheat now?
Hi, I just picked up Halo 3 ODST and I can’t seem to get the Good Samaritan or the Naughty Naughty achievement. The description for the Good Samaritan achievement is „Killing things that are new and different is bad, alone or with another ODST.”, and the Naughty Naughty description is „Killing things that are new and different is good, alone or with another ODST.” Any help would be really helpful.

Well i was wondering how to do the hungerer of knowledge achievement in assassins creed for xbox 360 because i didn’t get what it meant? It said to see all 85% of glitches in the game.
I have a couple games that have very low achievement scores, like 10 and even 5. The rest of the list is triple digits, and i have some OCD when it comes to things like that. I have seen videos on xbox where you can actually delete games from your achievement history, but I’ve only deleted my zero gamerscore games. So, if I delete my GTA IV achievement history, will I lose the 10 gamerscore I have from it?
In Halo 3, I’ve completed 6/9 missions on legendary but 3/9 on Normal. It was strange how I did most of the missions on legendary but got the normal achievement. I really want the Legendary and Heroic achievements but I dont want to do the all of the last 3 missions on legendary to get the achievement. Can I simply beat the last mission on Legendary to get the achievement? If you can, please explain everything. Thanks.
